Holder of a bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from McGill University and a master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, Philippe leverages his intellectual rigour and curiosity in research and analysis that aim to deliver impact for clients.
Before joining Casacom, he was an advisor at the Quebec Commission on Ethics of Science and Technology, where he contributed to works on climate geoengineering and on the ethics of researchers during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also taught philosophy of science to undergraduate students during his time in Groningen and served as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper Le Délit at McGill University, a role that earned him the René-Lévesque Prize for student journalism.
Trained in applied ethics, Philippe is equally comfortable with the arts and the sciences. He is passionate about forward-looking issues such as public policy on energy transition and artificial intelligence.
